In sezione aurea” is an interdisciplinary project, born from the collaboration between Leonardo Diana, the virtual set designer Nicola Buttari and the dancers Luna Cenere and Isabella Giustina, which investigates some aspects of the figure of Leonardo da Vinci. The research aims to delve into the mathematical aspects of the Florentine genius to develop new choreographic writings in the relationship between dance and video mapping, creating an immersive context where the performers live in constant interaction with the projections. The multidisciplinary nature of the work materializes in the relationship between the different disciplines (dance, video art and music) which, thanks to the use of precise mathematical laws, such as the golden section and the Fibonacci numerical sequence, seek a common language for the dramatic writing of the show. The bodies fit in as architectural elements in motion within the spatial context outlined by the video graphics developed following precise mathematical logarithms linked to the Fibonacci numerical sequence.
